These testimonials are written by people who have received chiropractic care by Dr. Ara Bagdassarian. Each time they feel great, and their body starts functioning closer to normal, we encourage them to write about their experience. Most of the time, we do not know all the details of what people experience until they write about it. This is simply because our main focus is to free the body of the interferences (Subluxations) which are preventing the normal expression of life. Once the body is set free, it has the will, momentum, and drive to heal all the necessary areas as it returns to normal function. "My whole energy started to move. I felt my body vibrating, my hands and legs started feeling intense vibrations shooting into them. I could feel energy that Dr. Ara gave me. After that marvelous lunch I had my first adjustment session with my friends' chiropractor. I felt so peaceful and relaxed through the session that I asked afterwards, "So, when can I come back?" I enjoyed the atmosphere in his office, and I enjoyed the gentleness of his touch.

2 years ago I had a bad fall while at work, I slipped on a wet tile floor and fell really hard on my lower back. As time passed, my injury progressed into a pain in my lower back that made me cry every morning and lasted throughout the day. In addition to my back pain, I felt like I was only half of the person I wanted to be. Emotionally I felt like I was dying…crying all the time, feeling angry, victimized. I had no energy or self control. I knew that a lot of this had to do with the pain in my back preventing me from living my life. Little did I know that that was only the tip of the iceberg. After seeing a few doctors with some success in treating the symptoms, I decided it was time to try something different.
I found Dr. Ara's website from a health magazine, and knew that this was the route I wanted to take in my healing process. I felt changes from the first few visits, but now after 6 weeks, the results are far more profound. Words cannot express my experience but I will do my best in relaying the positive changes that have occurred. I first came to Dr. Ara out of curiosity at the end of 2004 after hearing about him from a friend. I did not suffer from chronic back problems (other than a tight lower back), but as I learned how our bodies store emotions and experiences we are not able to process and integrate, I suspected Dr. Ara's work would help me progress in my emotional and spiritual healing. Despite being on 10mg Lexapro daily, I experienced a severe depressive episode after my second adjustment; the adjustment seemed to have dislodged depression I didn't know I still had! That experience confirmed there were painful emotions stored in my body which his chiropractic work would help my body release and integrate. In January of 2005, I began visiting him regularly, in accordance with the care plan he developed for me after a detailed evaluation.

I feel incredibly lucky to have Dr. Ara Bagdassarian as my Chiropractor. Over the years, my health and well being has increased so much from getting adjusted. On a physical level, the migraines and neck pain I used to experience were gone after a month and I no longer catch the common cold that is circulating. It's obvious my immune system is strong and my body can more easily find it's way to harmony. My youngest child, Joseph has always been very shy, would never really get involved with family discussions or anything of the nature; He just kept to himself, as though he had nothing to say, or as if he wasn't there; invisible, so to speak. Lately, I decided that I needed to spend some time with him, even if it was just a few minutes, I needed to open some kind of communication with him and just try to get him to express himself. At the beginning it was very difficult … so Dr. Ara came to the rescue. Dr. Ara took him in under care and started adjusting him twice a week. Slowly and slowly, I noticed Joseph started to open up on his own accord. It became easier for him to express himself and talk about issues. He always remarks about being born with what felt like a big hole in his chest, and now, "it's just not there, and I feel so much better" … but what I see is that he is able to express himself better. Without getting into too much detail, I could say our conversations have, not only expanded, but are productive, intimate and provide a space for me to get to know my son better. What was so beautiful to witness was that within 2 months he had amazing amounts of opening and changes occur in his life and expression.

When I first came to Ara, I was very exhausted and drained emotionally and physically. I felt tired all the time, didn't have energy for anything, wasn't able to handle daily tasks, could sleep for days without waking up and still felt tired and more depressed… and so on and on…. After a couple sessions I started feeling positive changes, first in my posture which needless to say was awful, it improved a lot!. And what is the most important for me I felt more balanced emotionally, felt less stressed , and more alive. Several months ago, I had severe lower back pains that began wrapping around my abdomen and bowel. I sought medical tests such as abdominal and uterine sonograms, as well as a colonoscopy. All my tests results were negative, yet my pain became more severe and debilitating. I sought many kings of holistic body work treatments, which helped my condition, but only for short periods of time.
I had worked with Dr. Ara in the past and had miraculous results for conditions no other health care providers were able to treat. Dr. Ara and I live a far distance from each other, but I had an opportunity to work with him again during the time I was experiencing my back pains. Dr. Ara knew exactly where to put his hands. I experienced heat and a deep sense of relaxation.I immediately felt an instant relief from pain, as though my bowels were becoming untwisted. Dr. Ara worked on me for 45 minutes. When my treatment was finished, I was pain free. And, it LASTED. In addition to the alleviation of physical pain, I experienced an openness to be in life in a more secure and loving way. It was almost as though the release of pain allowed a spiritual healing to take place as well. I found I was not worrying about things as much. I found I was more accepting of situations over which I had no control. I began taking a look at some important changes I needed to make in my life. And, I was smiling.
In a subsequent visit to a gastroenterologist, my symptoms were diagnosed as having been diverticulitis. The doctor told me to make an appointment if the symptoms returned and he would prescribe medicine. Well, not this patient. The symptoms have not returned. And, if they do, I will call Dr. Ara.

"A Gratefull Healing" Little did I realize that by coming to Doctor Ara for relief of shoulder pain, would I find my heart and mind healed. I can say now that my heart has opened once more where I can love myself along with my mind expanding to the point of bringing me peace instead of doubt. When I first came to Doctor Ara, I was at a point in my life where I felt unsatisfied with what I had already accomplished. I was feeling sad for not being further along in my work here on earth. Before I came to Dr. Ara, I had very bad pains in my back and my legs. I had this problem for six years, and at times, the pain was so bad that I could not walk, bend or do any other form of movement. Before I came to Dr. Ara, I had seen three other chiropractors and they did nothing for me. I spent all my money on them and they did nothing. My problems persisted. I came to Dr. Ara, with very low expectations. By the third Adjustment, 95% of my pain was gone. I couldn't wash my face in the morning because I couldn't bend forward, now my head touches my knees. After the eleventh adjustment, I already feel like a newborn. I have a lot of energy to work, I can run now, and the pain is gone. If I were to tell you all the changes that have happened since the first day, like the aches and pains that I had in my eye that miraculously disappeared, or the weight that was lifted off my shoulders this testimonial would be pages long. I've had excruciating headaches and neck pain for the last 6 months. I took Advil and Tylenol in attempt to get rid of the pain. These drugs did not help, so I went to the medical doctor. The MD took a CAT Scan, where the results showed that everything was O.K. but I still had the pains. The MD then prescribed very strong muscle relaxants and pain relievers. These medications stopped the pain as long as I kept taking them daily. After my husband went to Dr. Ara Bagdassarian and told me he felt like a kid again, I decided to give him a try. After the first adjustment, I was amazed at the results. I woke up the next day with no pain. I stopped my medications since then and have not taken it ever since. Beyond my headaches, I have more energy and enthusiasm for life. It's as if he found all the stress in my body and took them all out. One of my good friends who suffered from major back pains told me about Dr. Ara and the successful experience he had with him. I was having sort of the same problems due to my job consisting of long hours in front of the computer. Sometimes I was having so terrible back and neck pains that I would go home and stay in bed without moving for 2-3 hours. Any movement would aggravate my pain and sickness. These pains were associated with dizziness, sickness, stiffness of my back. Also in that period I was dealing with a lot of stress and anger in my life. So I was thinking to give it a try and go see Dr. Ara. I started the adjustments immediately, and in less than 2 weeks the stiffness was gone. Since then, I never experienced any of those pains or sickness. In addition I have more energy, I sleep better, I was able to deal with my stress and overall I am much happier.

My Name is Dumitru Tudorie, I am 40 years old and I have very old back problems. I have seen many doctors in the past: Medical doctors, Chiropractors, Orthopedic doctors and on and on. My back problems started in 1983. Ever since that time, all the treatments that I have tried seemed to be useless. Two people made me believe there is hope. One of them was Dr. Rachitan, who works similar to Dr. Ara, and the second was Dr. Ara. I believe if you listened and worked with those blessed people, the results will show up. I believe only with this kind of treatment, a person is able to see the right direction to take towards his or her life. They will see the difference between where they were and where they will be after the treatments. No one could convince me that surgery or drugs could help you, before you take those, first you have to try these treatments. If you don't, you lost the most important part of your life, you lost the chance to feel the difference and it is a big difference. You have to trust it and afterwards you will believe. The rest is just communication between you and the universe.

A Chiropractic Students' perspective
As I mentioned, with all of the BGI following around here, and even after attending BGI seminars, I had not "felt the vibe". I am a strong believer of the emotional/chemical component of the "subluxation". When you adjusted me, I literally felt my heart burst open and energy pour to my fingertips. Like most people, I have swallowed many painful life experiences and must have stored it in this area…getting in the way of fully opening up to others. I was amazed at my breath capacity after the adjustment…I could breath in 10 x deeper! Now that I'm back to school (in California), fighting traffic, dealing with kids, etc… it's not quite as open, but still better than before … Thanks again…you're awesome! Keep up the good work
