Self-Transcendence 6 & 10 day race was an event through Sri Chinmoy's
disciples and devotees. 84 runners from 16 countries participated in
this years race. This was a race that went on 24 hours a day where the
runners would run, rest, eat, and seek medical attention and nutrition
when needed. Racers clocked well over 500 miles within this timeframe.
Friday, May 2, 2008 was the second to last day of the race. Dr. Ara
Bagdassarian devoted this whole day to serve chiropractic to the runners
(and some volunteer staff as well). It was a good time to come, the
runners were in need of something new and unique from what they had
already been doing. The service started at 1pm and ended at 10:30pm
with a list of people that only seemed to be getting longer as time
went on. Each person got up with a "BIG" smile on their face
and a sense of revitalization. As word spread most runners jumped at
the opportunity to have their chance to experience this feeling that
those who received adjustments were talking about. Here are a few pictures
